Official Westworld Soundtrack Now Available To Stream

One thing that was so often overlooked in Westworld's blistering rise to prominence is the official soundtrack. Orchestrated by musical maestro Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim), the score was crafted with a blend of classical orchestra and electronica, peppered with dark, jarring covers of pop music from the likes of The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Soundgarden and The Pixies.

One thing that was so often overlooked in Westworld‘s blistering rise to prominence is the official soundtrack.

Available to purchase and stream across all the usual platforms (read: Apple Music and Spotify), the Westworld soundtrack bundles together 34 tracks in total. From “House of the Rising Sun” to “Paint It Black,” those of you fully up-to-date with HBO’s sci-fi Western will appreciate how Djawadi’s score is able to transport you back to specific moments from the source material. That, and it will make the wait for Westworld‘s second season that little bit more bearable.

Because rest assured, season 2 is coming. Now that the dust is starting to settle from Sunday’s “The Bicameral Mind,” fans are beginning to pick apart all of the minor details littered across Westworld in an attempt to decipher where HBO’s drama is headed next. Judging by the litany of parks teased in the finale, it could well be that viewers will be trading Western for Samurai in the not-so-distant future. Indeed, that’s a change in location co-creator Jonathan Nolan teased just recently, stating that, “we never had any intention of staying in one place. We don’t want to shoot on the same sets for 10 years. We want to blow the sets up and move onto another piece of the story.”

Westworld capped off its inaugural season with a truly captivating finale on Sunday, December 4. It was riddled with plot twists, too – twists that will have a rippling effect long into the show’s second season when it premieres at some point in 2018.
