Citing a listing from Alberta Film Ratings, TT notes that the latest full-length promo for Guardians 2 is already in the can, and will run for two minutes and 20 seconds. It’ll likely screen before Logan (March 3rd) or, in the more likely scenario, Bill Condon’s live-action Beauty and the Beast on March 17th.

Assuming online chatter holds true, the former will herald the final trailer for Wonder Woman, so we’re inclined to believe that the Powers That Be over at Marvel and Disney are planning to hold fire until late next month. Whatever the case, we will, as always, have full coverage for you right here on We Got This Covered.

Three years on from the crackerjack debut, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 heralds the return of Star-Lord and Co., who will be squaring off against the malevolent Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki), a powerful alien who may or may not have kidnapped Karen Gillan’s Nebula to lure the Guardians out of hiding. Then there’s the addition of Kurt Russell as Ego, the Living Planet – albeit a humanoid version of the ancient deity. He’s the long-lost father of Peter Quill, but don’t worry, knowing the identity of Papa Quill ahead of time won’t spoil your enjoyment of the finished product, according to James Gunn.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will make a beeline for theaters on May 5th and yes, Rob Zombie will have a minor part to play.
