With a new episode of Supergirl being just hours away, we’ve rounded up a few videos for your viewing pleasure, so hopefully they’re able to tide you over. Now, it’s no secret that Dean Cain will be making his anticipated return to the series tonight as he’ll be reprising his role of Jeremiah Danvers, Kara’s adoptive father. And, in our first clip to present, he begins to reacquaint himself with his family, in addition to meeting Maggie, Alex’s new girlfriend.
If you were looking for something more action packed and less domestic and heartwarming, this second preview clip may be more to your liking. In it, the Girl of Steel teams up with the Martian Manhunter to take down a fleet of vehicles driven by parties unknown. Seeing as how we’re all viewing this out of context, our best guess is that it’s something having to do with Cadmus given Jeremiah’s return. Still, you have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool to see J’onn use his unique powers in the field.
Finally, we arrive at a featurette, which sees co-executive producer Jessica Queller and executive producer Robert Rovner walk us through the finer points of “Homecoming” while trying to avoid major spoilers. Two things of note in the footage given are what appears to be the exact moment Alex reunites with Jeremiah as well as Mon-El’s unwavering suspicion of the Danvers patriarch. To be quite honest, I think the Daxamite has a very valid reason to be concerned because none of us know whether Cadmus has subjected him to mental conditioning. Still, let’s hope he’s able to stick around for a reunion with Teri Hatcher, who’s inbound later this season.
