Whether it be coverage from the floors of the biggest conventions around or simply landing interviews with some of the biggest names in comics today, the web series DC All Access has certainly been on a roll as of late. That being said, it comes as no surprise that the trend continues today with news pertaining to some upcoming one-shots as well as a look inside the latest issue of Harley Quinn.

First, let’s talk about those one-shots since, well, they were covered first in the video above. Although the announcement shouldn’t have come as too much of a shock, it certainly did come out of nowhere, albeit it as a welcome surprise.

You see, with what would’ve been Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday coming up, DC has decided to celebrate in style, publishing six standalone books focusing on some of “The King’s” greatest creations that’ll hit stands this August. Among them are OMAC, the New Gods and Darkseid, the latter of which I’m looking forward to most. As of now, not many details have been offered, but we’ll be sure to bring you all related news in the next few months.

Moving on to Harley Quinn, we find it especially appropriate that this week’s installment share some of the spotlight given that a new story arc, “Blast from the Future,” kicks off today. If you’ve been following the title in recent months, you’re well aware of the “Batfan” from the future that’s intended on traveling to our time period in hopes of killing Ms. Quinn, for she believes that the former villainous will one day murder Batman. While that remains to be seen, we’ll still keep a close eye on the series as this unfolds – as should you.
