From rumors of cut cameos to those all important first reactions, it’s been a busy week for the DCEU and now, to top it all off, we’ve got a new look at Jason Momoa’s Aquaman thanks to some promo art.

It’s unclear where exactly this hails from, but it’s been making the rounds today and shows off the character in all his badass glory. Though there’s nothing here that’ll give away anything about the plot, it’s yet another glimpse at one of the most intriguing heroes set to feature in Justice League. After all, the film will bring about our first true look at the rightful Atlantean King in action across both land and sea, and we can hardly wait to see what Momoa’s done with the role.

But enough out of us. Check out the new pic in the gallery below along with a few other pieces of promo art that have been popping up recently and see what you think.

Like we mentioned before, it’s far from the most revealing shot, but given how highly anticipated the film is, not to mention how eager everyone is to see this bold and edgy version of Aquaman, we’ll take what we can get. Besides, if nothing else, it cements the fact that Jason Momoa is absolutely the right man for the job here.

Thankfully, there’s not long to go now before we get to see him in action, as Justice League swoops into theaters on November 17th, when the film will become the fifth entry into the DC Extended Universe to date. But can it channel the smashing success of Patty Jenkins’ recent blockbuster? Or will it struggle to overcome the hurdles and production woes that befell Suicide Squad? Only time will tell.

Beyond 2017, and aside from locking down a late 2019 release date for Wonder Woman 2, Warner Bros. has been coy about its future plans for the DCEU, but there have been rumblings that David Sandberg’s Shazam movie – a film that is seemingly much more light-heartened when compared to the rest of WB’s superhero output – is next in line to enter production ahead of its debut in the early stages of 2019.
