Fresh Justice League Concept Art Offers New Look At The Flash

In addition to the appeal that comes with seeing some of the most recognizable superheroes around teaming up on the big screen for the first time, another thing that Justice League has going for it is that it'll feature the first substantial appearances to be made by some of these characters in the DC Extended Universe.

As you may remember, fan favorites such as the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg all made cameos in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – with the Scarlet Speedster also having shown up briefly in Suicide Squad – but we’ve yet to see these versions fully fleshed out. Thus, we have all the more reason to be waiting on pins and needles with the rest of you.

And speaking of Barry Allen, one of the most talked about things surrounding Ezra Miller’s interpretation is that of his costume. Obviously, many have grown quite accustomed to what Grant Gustin has been wearing over on The CW, but I personally really dig this outfit. Just by looking at it, you can tell that costume designer Michael Wilkinson and Justice League director Zack Snyder may have very well been influenced by the look seen in the Injustice games, with the more armored approach and whatnot.

Now, thanks to Art Ludique Le Musée’s Twitter page, we’ve been treated to some concept art showing the Flash’s costume in the early stages. While we imagine there were other designs that have since been vetoed, the image we’re looking at today more closely resembles the final product, and is no less handsome.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17.
