Ben Affleck as Batman

Ben Affleck Says Some Of Justice League’s Coolest Reveals Have Been Kept Under Wraps

With just a little more than a week separating now from the movie that many of us have been waiting our entire lives for - that, of course, being Justice League - I think it's safe to say that anticipation levels have reached critical mass. As such, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep major spoilers off the internet because we're no longer relying on magazines like, say, Starlog to get our information as we did when we were younger.

Truth be told, it’s not just the online community that spills loads of beans these days because, as you’re probably aware, the movie studios do a fine job of that themselves. In recent years, we’ve seen major plot points be spoiled in one trailer after another, effectively ruining our moviegoing experiences to varying degrees. I’m sure that the superhero fans among you have not soon forgotten the second trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice that connected most of the dots for us.

Thankfully, Warner Bros. haven’t repeated that mistake with Justice League, and have instead given us the right amount of basics to whet our appetites – even if we’re at the point where full clips are starting to be released in advance of the film’s opening. Basically, all we really know is that DC’s premier heroes are coming together for the first time to combat Steppenwolf and the forces of Apokolips. And, really, that’s all we need to get us to buy tickets.

When recently speaking with ETalk, Ben Affleck supported this by saying that many details have actually been preserved:

“Well, I think any time you’re making a movie, you’re telling a story, you don’t want to give it away. These movies, people pay a lot of attention to them, so they have to work a little bit harder to keep it secret. There’s some cool reveals and fun twists and, so far, we’ve managed to keep them secret.”

Obviously, rumors have been swirling when it comes to any possible cameos made by Green Lantern or Darkseid, but, for now, they remain just that – rumors. Either way, we can’t wait for Justice League‘s November 17 opening.
