Now that Christmas is over and done with, the four shows that make up The CW’s Arrowverse will be returning in just a couple of weeks. And to celebrate, the network has dropped this short but sweet crossover promo featuring TV’s finest heroes suiting back up after a month away from our screens.

The clip sees the gang in a locker room-like facility (each one has their own changing room), as Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow orders them to suit up. Cue a swanky slow-mo montage of the group donning their crime-fighting gear.

Those featured in the video include White Canary (Caity Lotz), Vibe (Carlos Valdes), Atom (Brandon Routh) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzales), while we also get glimpses of Steel, Kid Flash, Mister Terrific and Heatwave. Late to the party, meanwhile, are Flash (Grant Gustin) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), who use their handy super-speed to catch up with the others.

The Arrowverse has always been great for specially-shot promos like this one. In previous seasons, The CW has delivered two “Fight Club” teaser trailers made with a similar tongue-in-cheek style that united the cast of the four shows for a two-minute slice of superhero action. Others of this ilk include the Supergirl promo that crossed over with Wonder Woman, featuring Lynda Carter and Kara wearing the Amazon warrior’s boots.

Obviously, this isn’t to be taken as part of the continuity of the shows, but it could give us one hint as to what awaits us in the upcoming second half of the season. And that’s because we see the Flash sport a beard in the teaser, hinting that Barry might be trying out a new look in the upcoming episodes. Or maybe it’s just Gustin’s own facial hair that he’ll shave off once he properly gets back into character? Time will tell.

Be sure to check out the four Arrowverse shows when they return to The CW on the week beginning January 15th.
