It seems like every time we get treated to some new footage from director Ryan Coogler’s latest offering, we have one more reason to show up on opening weekend. And that’s exactly the case here, as this latest preview is an electrifying look at what’s sure to be one of 2018’s hottest films, teasing an epic power struggle set in the fictional country of Wakanda, which is brought to life gorgeously here.

Bringing with it a gritty feel and a vibe quite unlike anything we’ve seen from the studio so far, if nothing else, Black Panther will surely be a breath of fresh air in a franchise that has, in recent years, begun to feel a bit recycled. It’s always foolish to judge a film entirely based on trailers, but the footage that’s been put in front of us to date has truly been impressive and it’s with great excitement that we continue counting down the days until release.

Dubbed the big, operatic family drama of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther will make a beeline for US theaters on February 16th – exactly one week after its initial debut in the United Kingdom. And when it does, it’ll seemingly weigh in at 135 minutes in length. Buckle up, dear readers, for a trip to Wakanda is finally on the cards.

Until we arrive there, though, tell us, what do you make of this final and indeed, thrilling trailer for the spinoff? As always, leave your thoughts in the comments section down below.
