New Black Lightning Posters Should Spark Your Interest

So far, I'd like to think that Black Lightning has been very well received by the DC TV fanbase. I mean, not only has it thus far proved to be a critical darling, but its grounded take on the superhero story infused with real world gang violence and social commentary has made for some truly addictive programming, to say the least.

Truth be told, the first in the gallery probably stands the better chance because it shows Cress Williams’ Jefferson Pierce standing alone in his Black Lightning gear. But, in this writer’s humble opinion, it’s the second that I dig most.

In that one, we see Jeff striking his best “feel my power” pose while being joined by his daughters Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain). As the comic book readers out there know, those two are fated to become Thunder and Lightning, respectively. That said, whatever hints at what’s to come is sure to raise at least one of my eyebrows. Of course, fingers remain crossed for Static showing up in the future.
