Zachary Levi in Shazam

New Set Pic Reveals The Front Of Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Costume

After getting our first look at Zachary Levi's Shazam! costume the other week, we've now got another pic of it and this time, it's from the front.

While a full costume reveal is said to be imminent, Reddit has today uncovered another look at Zachary Levi suited and booted as Shazam!, the DC titan imbued with the powers of the gods.

It’s taken from behind the scenes, but unlike the one we got last week, this shot’s from the front, giving us a great look at the fully-costumed Levi as he appears to be taking a break. Nothing further can be gleaned from the pic, and no context was provided for what scene the actor’s about to shoot, but this is without a doubt our best look at his super suit yet and will surely get fans excited as they eagerly await the official reveal.

When that’ll be exactly, we don’t know. But it’s bound to be soon and until it arrives, you can check out the latest set snap, along with the other one we got last week, down in the gallery below.

Though fan art has provided at least some idea of what Levi will look like in the role, and these set photos give us an even better glimpse, it’ll definitely be nice to finally get something official from Warner Bros. After all, a lot of eyes are on Shazam! right now with many curious as to how it’ll turn out. Said to be a lighter and more humorous affair for the DC Extended Universe, the pic will probably be a bit of a change of pace for the franchise, but it also might be just what the studio needs at the moment after the underwhelming Justice League.

Casting-wise, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand and Ron Cephas Jones fill out the slate, with the latter tasked with playing the wizard who grants Billy his powers in the first place – powers derived from Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury.

The cameras, they are a-rolling on the set of David Sandberg’s Shazam!, with the finished product expected to release in April of 2019 – eight months before Patty Jenkins gets the gang back together for Wonder Woman 2.
