Oliver And Diggle Come To Blows In New Arrow Photos

Oliver Queen has faced a lot of uphill battles over the past six seasons of Arrow, but someone who's almost always been by his side to help him make the climb is his best bud John Diggle. In this week's episode of The CW series, however, Stephen Amell and David Ramsey's characters will come to blows in what looks to be a shocking falling out between the dynamic duo.

Oliver Queen has faced a lot of uphill battles over the past six seasons of Arrow, but someone who’s almost always been by his side to help him make the climb is his best bud John Diggle. In this week’s episode of The CW series, however, Stephen Amell and David Ramsey’s characters will come to blows in what looks to be a shocking falling out between the dynamic duo.

You can get your first look at the battle brewing in the Arrow-Cave in the promo photos below, but it seems Ollie and Diggle begin with a verbal disagreement before things turn violent, leaving Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) distraught that the two men are fighting. Meanwhile, Katie Cassidy’s Black Siren and Kurt Acevedo’s Ricardo Diaz are up to their old evil tricks, after they get their hands on some vial of green liquid.

Lastly, after chatting with Curtis (Echo Kellum), Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) goes to see Oliver and Quentin Lance, in their capacity as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Star City. This may cause Mayor Queen to meet with his old ally turned enemy, Anatoly (David Nykl).

Though the below synopsis keeps the reason for Ollie and Diggle’s spat under wraps, it does tease what Curtis will get up to in the episode, as his new partner has very different views on vigilantes.

OLIVER MAKES A DARING MOVE THAT COULD COST HIM EVERYTHING – Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) face their biggest challenge yet. Curtis (Echo Kellum) is disappointed to find out his new boyfriend has a firm anti-vigilante stance. Mark Bunting directed the episode written by Sarah Tarkoff & Jeane Wong (#617). Original airdate 4/5/2018.

It’s possible the boys’ in-fighting could be tied into the events of last week’s episode, titled “The Thanatos Guild.” It was a significant one for the show, too, as it saw longtime Arrow star Willa Holland leave Star City for good. Chalk that up as speculation for now though, as we still don’t have the exact details on why they’ve seemingly fallen out.

Be sure to catch Arrow “Brothers in Arms” on The CW this Thursday, April 5th.
