Avengers Infinity War Doctor Strange

Marvel’s Science Bros. Headline New Avengers: Infinity War Still

USA Today has dropped the latest image for Avengers: Infinity War, and it places the focus squarely on Marvel's Science Bros.

New York City once again hosts an alien invasion in this newly-released still for Avengers: Infinity War.

Coming to us by way of USA Today (h/t Reddit), this image places the focus squarely on Marvel’s accomplished Science Bros. – namely Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Wong and an Incredible Hulk crippled by stage fright – who stare off towards some off-screen threat.

In typically irreverent fashion, Robert Downey Jr.’s tech billionaire stands with his arms folded, though we imagine he’s yet to realize the gravity of the situation. Or he’s just staring down the face of death, who knows? Bruce Banner, on the other hand, looks uncomfortable in his own skin, while Wong and his fellow sorcerer – the Sorcerer Supreme, no less – look prepped and ready for battle.

Feast thy eyes on the pic in the gallery below (along with a few other recently released ones):

If you’ve been following Infinity War‘s development closely, you’ll know that NYC becomes the target of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian, who descend on the Big Apple in search of the Eye of Agamotto and, more specifically, the Time Stone. Cue Marvel’s Science Bros.

Regardless of whether you refer to them as Team Iron Man or Marvel’s Science Bros., this foursome is arguably one of the most powerful subsets of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and we understand that Bruce Banner will soon make the trip across the pond in order to join the Battle of Wakanda, where he’ll be donning the modified Hulkbuster armor that initially made its debut back in Age of Ultron. And, well, let’s just say a lot has changed since 2015.

Avengers: Infinity War opens big on April 27th. How big, you ask? Try $225 million domestic, leading us to believe that Marvel’s historic crossover may well become the fourth movie to crack $2 billion at the global box office. Stay tuned for more on that one.
