Lil Wayne Ft. Bruno Mars – Mirrors

A fantastic new track from the upcoming Lil Wayne album, Tha Carter IV, has dropped today. Titled Mirrors and featuring Bruno Mars, this is one of the best Weezy songs I've heard in a long time. As expected, Lil Wayne drops the main bars while Mars comes in with a soulful hook.

A fantastic new track from the upcoming Lil Wayne album, Tha Carter IV, has dropped today. Titled Mirrors and featuring Bruno Mars, this is one of the best Weezy songs I’ve heard in a long time. As expected, Lil Wayne drops the main bars while Mars comes in with a soulful hook.

It’s a reflective song, one that has Weezy dropping lines about his dad (Lookin’ at me now I can see my past/ Damn, I look just like my fu**in’ dad). The rapper also gives a nod to the King when he says “And no message could have been any clearer, so I’m starting with the man in the mirror. MJ taught me that.”

Personally, I love this one. The lyrics are great and surprisingly heartfelt, for Lil Wayne at least. As for Mars’ hook, it brings the song the soul and heart that the lyrics evoke. It’s a fantastic track and I suggest you check it out below.
