Flanked by two of his most trusted allies in Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) and Sam Wilson (Falcon), Captain America can be seen taking down the Black Order in this brand new clip from Avengers: Infinity War.

Admittedly, this is more or less the same thing we saw earlier this week, when some footage of Steve Rogers going up against Proxima Midnight surfaced, but this version is extended, offering up a few new shots of Team Cap kicking some serious ass and putting Thanos’ minions in their place.

We also get a better look at Corvus Glaive (set to be played by Peter Dinklage) here, as Widow lands a deadly blow on him. Don’t take that to mean he’ll be out of the fight for too long, though, as he’s set to be a pretty formidable foe for our heroes.

As the leader of the Black Order, he’s famed for his combat mastery and tactical genius. Worryingly for the Avengers, he’s also functionally immortal thanks to his weapon, a glaive that allows him to survive practically any injury – not to mention being able to slice through any known thing (and person) in the universe.

Of course, even once the Black Order’s dealt with, there’s still a much, much bigger threat to tackle. That’d be Thanos, Josh Brolin’s unruly Mad Titan who has only one mission – to wipe out half of the universe as part of a last-ditch attempt to save his ill-fated homeworld, Titan, from total annihilation.

Expect Captain America and his close team of costumed compadres to light up the screen once Avengers: Infinity War begins its global rollout on April 27th, by which point we should have a better understanding of the sequel’s post-credits scene – or lack thereof.
