With creative control nothing more than a distant memory, DCEU founding father Zack Snyder has been keeping himself busy on social media, specifically Vero, much like a parent struggling to cope with an empty nest.

What began yesterday with the reveal of a hand-drawn storyboard depicting Batman (Ben Affleck) operating “the big Parademon air defense gun,” Snyder continued to unveil concept art today, this time highlighting the origin story of the Mother Box and, most recently, Victor Stone’s (Ray Fisher) backstory.

It’s no secret that there was a plethora of content trimmed from Justice League to ensure the 2017 blockbuster complied with several stipulations set by Warner Bros., most important of which was a sub-two hour runtime. As a result of this overhaul, multiple characters, such as Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, saw their development significantly reduced in the motion picture.

However, thanks to DC Cinematic, a new, BTS photo of Stone, accompanied by a hand-drawn storyboard from Snyder, has shed some insight into Cyborg’s creation, which you can check out below.

The snapshot shows Victor on the operating table mere moments before undergoing his cybernetic reconstruction, while the concept art sees his father, S.T.A.R. Labs scientist Silas Stone (Joe Morton), working on him. To get the full story, be sure to read Snyder’s take on the Mother Box and how it ended up in the hands of Silas, which we published earlier in the day.

Ranging from a James Gordon Jr. Easter egg, all the way to snapshots confirming deleted scenes, the director’s Vero account has been a treasure trove of DC minutia, and so long as he continues to divulge his DCEU blueprint, we’ll be here to relay all the information on to you.
