Grant Gustin Chooses His Favorite Episode Of The Flash

When it comes to any TV show, it stands to reason that each of us naturally have our favorite episodes ready to discuss whenever the occasion may rise. But if you were to press me about The Flash, I'm not sure if I could provide an answer. Heck, I'm still having a hard time choosing between seasons 1 and 2 when it comes to which I love more, so narrowing it beyond that is quite difficult - at least for me.

Believe it or not, though, series lead Grant Gustin actually is able to choose his favorite episode, despite having been in them all. Already, we’ve learned which villain he prefers most, but here’s what he had to say about the topic we’ve been discussing when asked at ACE Comic Con in Seattle:

“The moment that always comes to my mind first is the season one finale. And now as I said that, actually, I just thought of your reaction video to the season one finale.”

If you were wondering to whom Grant was speaking, that’d be panel moderator and several time Flash director Kevin Smith, to which “the Fat Man” himself responded:

“It’s honestly one of the greatest things a human being has ever made in the history of mankind. Like, it’s not just a great hour of TV. It is so well constructed, and Tom [Cavanagh] is so villainous while still being human at the same time.”

As you may recall, “Fast Enough” saw Barry Allen travel back to the night of his mother’s murder and actually resist altering the timeline. Of course, he made a different decision one year later, thus creating Flashpoint, but none of us knew for sure that’d happen back in the spring of 2015.

Gustin continued:

“I don’t care what we do for the rest of Flash. I mean, honestly, that episode is the thing that I’ll always just look back on and be so proud of.”

The Flash returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, October 9 on The CW, which the Scarlet Speedster himself has already offered some teasers about.
