Thanos Infinity War

Captain Marvel Takes On Thanos On Gorgeous Avengers 4 Fan Poster

Boss Logic strikes again! This time, the prolific fan artist has designed a beautiful piece for Avengers 4 showing Captain Marvel taking on Thanos.

When asked to describe Captain Marvel‘s capabilities and, more specifically, how they’ll affect the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Infinity War co-writer Christopher Markus compared the incoming Carol Danvers to Captain America in that she’s a “rare kind of character, which is sort of a person who’s right and knows they’re right and doesn’t really want to hear it when you tell them they’re wrong.”

Strong, resolute, determined – all qualities one would associate with Brie Larson’s soon-to-be-introduced Avenger. But according to Kevin Feige, Captain Marvel is also going to be the “most powerful superhero” the studio’s ever brought us. And he’s not kidding around, either, as we’ve since heard that the character will be able to move entire planets.

That’s a feat impressive enough to strike fear into almost any MCU villain and suffice it to say, Thanos is going to be in for a rude awakening when he comes across Carol in Avengers 4. In fact, it’s that very moment which prolific fan artist Boss Logic has now imagined in his latest design, which can be seen down below.

Another impressive piece of work from him, we see Captain Marvel ready to take on the Mad Titan here, with the villain wielding that cool new sword from the leaked concept art which surfaced last month. Their encounter is sure to be an epic one and now, we’ve got an idea of what it might look like.

Of course, we’ll get to meet Carol prior to Avengers 4, as Captain Marvel reaches cinemas in March. The studio has big plans for the former Air Force pilot turned superhero, too, as Kevin Feige’s promised that she’ll lead the MCU in Phase Four. Will she be the one who’s finally able to put an end to Thanos though? We’ve got a good feeling the answer to that question is yes, and we’ll find out for sure on May 4th.
