Oliver Queen Is Tough As Nails In Arrow Season 7 Trailer

Throughout the course of six seasons, Arrow has played host to some pretty crazy cliffhangers. And though we could debate for hours which among them were the best, you have to admit that what we witnessed back in May has to be near the top of the list.

Long story short, Oliver Queen publicly admitted that he’s the Green Arrow after turning himself over to authorities. Granted, Smallville‘s iteration of the character also revealed his secret identity, but the ramifications that followed didn’t have the high stakes of what we’ll soon witness.

Offering our biggest hint at what’s to come is the above trailer that was just screened for those lucky enough to make it to San Diego Comic-Con. In it, among other things, we see the Emerald Archer adjusting to life behind bars and meeting a few familiar faces along the way. Oddly enough, one of them is Michael Jai White’s Bronze Tiger, who had previously been killed off in the Arrow Season 2.5 comics. I guess those aren’t canonical anymore.

If anything is going to get people talking, though, it may be the fact that someone’s running around Star City decked out in full Green Arrow gear. Right now, my gut tells me it’s Roy Harper, but we may have to wait until showtime to find out.

Also of note is Black Siren continuing to fill the shoes of Laurel Lance in the District Attorney’s office. This aligns with what we heard earlier this week, saying she’ll be walking the more heroic path going forward. Let’s just hope she can keep her temper in check once Ricardo Diaz resurfaces.

Arrow returns for its seventh season on Monday, October 15 on The CW.
