Though the collectible tin also displays such heroes as Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Captain America, Ant-Man, Thor, Nebula, War Machine, Rocket, Captain America and Ant-Man, Carol is given a prominent position back-to-back with Thanos. And while it goes without saying that a promotional tin is hardly the most reliable source of intel on the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, a lot of fans are currently hoping to see Brie Larson’s character go up against the Mad Titan, including Captain Marvel’s own co-director Ryan Fleck, who mentioned as much last month.

As it stands, Carol’s presence in the promotion for Endgame has been kept to a minimum, with the footage released by Marvel Studios seemingly going out of its way to avoid giving any screen time to the character. Nonetheless, it’s looking like Captain Marvel’s solo movie will be more than enough to build hype for her arrival in the Russo Brothers’ next feature, with the film currently tracking for a strong opening weekend and receiving some glowing responses from early viewers.

As for Thanos, despite ditching his armor near the start of Infinity War, the villain has consistently been looking well-protected in the promo art and merchandise for his next film, which has led many fans to speculate that his trusty Infinity Gauntlet is no longer working at full capacity. We’ll get some clarification on the matter when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019, though not before Captain Marvel introduces Thanos’ newest foe to the franchise when it comes out on March 8th.
