Kevin Feige Reveals Who He Wants To See Die In Avengers: Endgame

Oscar night was a pretty great evening to be Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, with Black Panther winning the studio its first ever Academy Awards and beating the record for most Oscars won by a superhero movie. So maybe the producer was just in a good mood when he offered a generous response to a morbid question about the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.

Speaking to eTalk, Feige was asked which characters he wants to die in the Avengers: Infinity War sequel. Forgoing the obvious answer of a certain Mad Titan, Feige instead insisted that he doesn’t want anybody in the ensemble actioner to meet an unfortunate end, saying:

“I don’t want anybody to die. I like everybody!”

Of course, who exactly will die is another question entirely, and with Endgame expected to serve as the last hurrah for a few Phase 1 players, the fans have been doing a whole lot of speculating on who might make the sacrifice play, with Iron Man and Captain America remaining the two most popular predictions.

We’ve still got a couple of months to wait until we find out for sure who won’t be around for the franchise’s next phase, but over this past weekend, the focus was very much on the solo debut of the late T’Challa. Though some fans were upset that Black Panther didn’t take home the Oscar for Best Picture, the movie still managed to nab the awards for Best Costume Design, Best Production Design and Best Original Score.

Needless to say, expectations are high for Black Panther 2, but before T’Challa can take the lead in another adventure, we’ll first find out how he returns to the world of the living when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
