Nora’s Secret Is Ready To Come Out In New Promo For The Flash

From the look of it, the producers behind The Flash really put a lot of thought into the trio of episodes currently unfolding. Last night, Cicada willingly took the metahuman cure - only for yet another Cicada (his niece, somehow aged to adulthood) to emerge and take his place. And if that weren't enough, Godspeed finally debuts in 5x18.

Sandwiched in between those is next week’s adventure, that being “Time Bomb.” In case you hadn’t heard, this’ll be when Nora finally reveals to her parents, Barry and Iris, that she’s been in collusion with Eobard Thawne this entire time. And based on what’s been offered in the promo video embedded at the top of the article, it’s the Reverse-Flash himself who encourages her to spill the beans.

If you listen to his voice, there really seems to be a sense of urgency, thereby forcing me to believe that something terrible is indeed on the way. Whether he’s talking about Cicada II, Godspeed or something else entirely remains to be seen, but you have to admit how he’s been quite repentant as of late.

That aside, it should be intriguing to witness how Barry and Iris react to learning the truth. It was Barry himself who said that even somebody like Thawne could be redeemed during a conversation with Nora earlier this season, so let’s see if those words have any weight to them.

For more on “Time Bomb,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

NORA DECIDES TO TELL BARRY AND IRIS THE TRUTH ABOUT THAWNE — Team Flash finds out that a suburban mom named Vickie Bolen (guest star Catherine Lough Haggquist) is in danger and they race to save her. Upon meeting her, they discover she’s a meta-human who is hiding her abilities from her family. Barry (Grant Gustin) encourages Vickie to share her secret with her family, which makes Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) realize she needs to come clean with her parents about Thawne (Tom Cavanagh). Rob Greenlea directed the episode written by Kristen Kim & Sterling Gates (#517). Original airdate 3/19/2019.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
