Respawn Entertainment has announced plans to launch the Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass, “Wild Frontier,” tomorrow, March 19th. Priced at 950 Apex Coins (about $9.50), the Battle Pass itself will herald a host of new cosmetic items, including banners, poses, and shiny new skins for Lifeline, Wraith, and Mirage.

There’s also word on Octane, the shooter’s brand new character. Turns out the leaks surrounding Apex‘s latest addition were pretty spot on; a post on PlayStation Blog describes the fresh-faced Legend as a breath of fresh air, and he’ll be available to play tomorrow, when Season 1 begins in earnest.

His abilities, meanwhile, are being described as so:

His Adrenaline Junkie ability lets him trade health for speed, and an endless supply of Stim health regeneration means he’s always ready for action. His Launch Pad Ultimate Ability lets his squad fly through the air with the greatest of ease.

Truth be told, rumors have been circulating Apex Legends for weeks, so it’s refreshing to hear this official confirmation from EA and Respawn. Further details on the long-term plan for “Wild Frontier” can be found over on EA’s dedicated page, including the Battle Pass bundle, which will set you back a total of 2,800 Apex Coins.

Both can be purchased late in the game, too, so don’t worry if you’re not able to pick up this Apex Legends expansion on day one. You’ll also be pleased to know that all players who partake in Season 1 will be able to nab one Wild Frontier Legend skin, five Apex Packs and 18 Wild Frontier stat trackers.

For more on how it all works, here’s what EA had to say:

You’ll receive all the rewards up to your Battle Pass level (which is your current level for the season) retroactively! For example, if you’re on level 20 for the season when you buy the Battle Pass, you’ll unlock all rewards for every level up to 20, plus three special Battle Pass skins.

If you buy the Battle Pass Bundle, you’ll get the rewards for 25 levels in addition to the levels you’ve already reached. So, if you’re on level 20 for the season when you buy the Battle Pass Bundle, you’ll get all the rewards through level 45 and the three special Battle Pass skins.

The next era of Apex Legends begins tomorrow, March 19th, at 10 am PST. Don’t miss it.
