While the God of Thunder was busy having his own adventure with Hulk in a distant corner of the MCU, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers had a falling out in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. And whereas Thor managed to meet up with Cap for some beard banter in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, fans are still waiting for Iron Man and The First Avenger to rekindle their friendship.

It seems the moment will finally arrive in the upcoming sequel. And with the three biggest stars of Marvel’s Phase 1 era together once more, fans have taken to Twitter to share their excitement:

Unless the trailer has been misleadingly edited (which could absolutely be the case), it looks like the Trinity will be crossing paths with Thanos in a rubble-strewn landscape that might well be the wreckage of the Avengers Compound. Though it’s safe to assume that the trio and their peers will succeed in their mission to reverse the snap, there’s a very good chance that at least one of the three won’t live to see the end of their next adventure.

Captain America might be the most widely predicted fatality, but we’ll find out who’s really making the sacrifice play when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
