Rob Zombie Says Three From Hell Will Be Worth The Wait

It's been a long, long wait for Three From Hell, but according to the film's director, Rob Zombie, it'll all be worth it when it finally lands.

It’s been a long, long wait for fans of the Firefly clan, but according to Rob Zombie, the gang’s next outing, Three From Hell, will be worth it.

The director took to Facebook last week to offer up a promising update on the project, with the Lords of Salem helmsman suggesting that the much anticipated first trailer is just around the corner. He also addressed the aforementioned wait that we’ve had to endure, telling us that he knows exactly how we feel.

“I know it seems like you’ve been waiting forever, well I’ve been working on this film everyday for the last two years so trust me I know how you feel,” said Zombie. “Actually my first conversations with Lionsgate about doing this movie began over three years ago.

It’s been a long and wild ride but it’s all been worth it. I’m sure you will agree once you get to see 3 From Hell “in all it’s bloody glory splashed across the big screen.”

Hang in there.”

As always, this latest status report from Zombie is much appreciated and to his credit, the filmmaker’s been pretty good about keeping us posted throughout production with frequent updates. That being said, there’s still been very little released from Three From Hell as far as photos or footage goes. In fact, we still don’t even have an official synopsis.

If the many set pics shared by the director in the past year are anything to go by though, then it seems Baby, Otis and Spaulding will likely be spending a lot of the movie behind bars. The pics of Moon wearing a “Free Baby” t-shirt, meanwhile, seem to hint that the trio may have some support from the outside world, as well as all the press coverage they’ll no doubt receive.

In any case, as we said above, it’s been a very long wait for Three From Hell, but Zombie’s promise that it’ll all be worth it once we see the film is certainly reassuring to hear. As for when exactly that will be, we don’t know just yet, but the director has previously mentioned that they’re aiming for an early fall release, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that that holds true.
