Supergirl Will Reportedly Appear In Batwoman’s First Season

Ever since The Flash and Arrow first crossed over, those and various other DC TV series on The CW have intermingled on a frequent basis, and we're not just talking about those massive crossovers occurring each fall. Well, according to FandomWire, that proud tradition will continue before long, as Supergirl herself is expected to visit Batwoman sometime during its first season. Though this news could be treated as rumor because it hasn’t been confirmed by the network, it’s worth mentioning this comes from the same outlet that said Black Lightning will appear in “Crisis on Infinite Earths” – and that was swiftly proven to be true.

From the sound of it, this smaller-scale crossover will go down earlier in the season, perhaps before “Crisis” rolls around. If so, then expect for Kara Zor-El to once again journey over to Earth-1. Should she make this a habit after “Crisis,” we imagine it’ll be much easier because, you know, the multiverse might not be a thing any longer.

Actually, this is one mashup I’ve been expecting to happen, as the two heroines did form somewhat of a bond during “Elseworlds” last year. In fact, they even jokingly used the term “World’s Finest” before parting ways. If I had to wager a guess, that could wind up being an episode title when they eventually reunite.

If “World’s Finest” sounds familiar to you, it should, because Superman and Batman’s shared comic book adventures have often been published under that banner, not to mention their first animated team-up in the Timmverse. Come to think of it, the New 52’s “Worlds’ Finest” might be more appropriate here, but I have no say in where Arrowverse producers place apostrophes.

Both Batwoman and Supergirl premiere on Sunday, October 6th on The CW.
