Gareth Edwards To Helm First Star Wars Spinoff Film
It's been a pretty good month for Godzilla helmer Gareth Edwards. After releasing Warner Bros.' monster movie to critical acclaim and impressive box office numbers, a sequel was quickly given the green light. Now, his good luck continues as he's been hired to direct the first Star Wars spinoff film for Disney, which will land on December 16th, 2016. Gary Whitta, perhaps best known for The Book of Eli, is set to pen the script. At this time though, we're not sure which characters the story will revolve around.

First Trailer And Poster For Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service
The marketing campaign for Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service (formerly known as The Secret Service) has kicked off today with the first official poster, photos and trailer. Based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbon's comic book of the same name, the film stars Colin Firth as an intelligence agent who recruits a "promising street kid (Taron Egerton)" into his agency's "ultra-competitive training program" in hopes of putting an end to a threat from a "twisted tech genius."

Pacific Rim 2 Is Not A Priority For Legendary
I know not many people will agree with me, but I thought that Pacific Rim was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable films of 2013. It delivered on everything it promised and I loved every single over-the-top second of it. So, it's definitely a bit upsetting to hear that Pacific Rim 2 isn't a priority for Legendary Pictures.

Dave Franco Might Lead The Intern’s Handbook For Sony
5316282-Dave-Franco-Talks-Now-You-See-Me Dave Franco might be getting the chance to lead his own franchise in the near future and quite frankly (pun intended), it's about time. After terrific turns in supporting roles in films like 21 Jump Street and Neighbors, the actor is truly ready to break out and it looks like he'll be able to do so in Sony's adaptation of The Intern's Handbook.

Michel Hazanavicius To Direct Zach Galifianakis And Paul Rudd In Will
Will is a project that's been around for several years now and somehow, still hasn't been made. Based on Demetri Martin's 2007 Black List script, the film revolves around a man on Earth whose life is written by a guardian angel who watches over him from above. Currently, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are on board as producers, and Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis are in the lead roles. All the project needs to get off the ground is a director and now, one has been found.
