D.B. Woodside Joins Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2
As much as I want to, I'm not going to give you my Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 rant again. I've done it several times and by this point, I've just accepted the fact that the film is indeed happening and that on April 17th, 2015, I'll be left with no choice but to shut my eyes and look away from the complete train wreck that it will be.

Jude Law Replaces Michael Fassbender In Genius
For a while now, Michael Fassbender has been attached to period drama Genius, the feature-film debut of theatre director Michael Grandage that is set to focus on legendary author Thomas Wolfe and the friendship he had with well known literary editor Max Perkins (who worked with talents like Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald). Unfortunately, the seemingly apt match was not meant to be and now, Fassbender has departed the project. Replacing him will be Jude Law, who joins a solid cast that already includes Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman.

Ben Kingsley And More To Reach The Clouds With Robert Zemeckis
The cast of Robert Zemeckis' To Reach The Clouds just got a bit more exciting today, as Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale and Charlotte Le Bon have signed on to join Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film. Based on Philippe Petit's own memoir of the same name, To Reach The Clouds will follow Petit's attempt to walk across a high-wire between the Twin Towers back in 1974.

Has Jason Momoa Joined Batman vs. Superman As Aquaman?
With Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg all set to feature in Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman, it's looking more and more likely that Warner Bros. is choosing to turn the film more into a Justice League set-up rather than a true Man of Steel sequel. In fact, I mentioned the other day that I wouldn't be surprised to hear about another superhero showing up in the film, and now, sure enough, we're learning that Jason Momoa may have been cast as Aquaman.

Ray Fisher Will Play Cyborg In Batman vs. Superman
The next piece of the Batman vs. Superman puzzle has been put into place today as Variety is reporting that theater actor Ray Fisher will play Cyborg in the film. Though he won't have a terribly large role in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, the report does mention that he will have a bigger part in future DC Universe projects.

Watch Dogs Movie Finds Its Writers
I've got to hand it to Ubisoft. They may be saturating the market with films based on their beloved video game properties, but at least they're going about all this the right way. Unlike almost every other video game adaptation that we've seen hit the silver screen thus far, Ubisoft is intent on putting actual talent behind their projects. Michael Fassbender is set to lead Assassin's Creed, Tom Hardy and Doug Liman are booked for Splinter Cell, and now, Zombieland scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have been tapped to pen the upcoming Watch Dogs film.

Joe Wright Recruits Amanda Seyfried For Pan
Cameras are set to roll next week on Joe Wright's upcoming Peter Pan origin story Pan, and today, the director has rounded out his cast. Empire is reporting that Amanda Seyfried will be stepping into the role of Mary, alongside several other new additions to the line-up. The full list includes: Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Jack Charles, Taejoo Na, Kurt Egyiawan, Lewis MacDougall and Leni Zieglmeier.
