Ryan Reynolds And Daniel Bruhl To Join Helen Mirren In The Woman In Gold
Not too long ago, we heard about an interesting project titled The Woman In Gold. It was set to star Helen Mirren with Andrew Garfield joining her in a supporting role. Today, the film is making headlines again but it appears that there's been some casting shake-ups. Deadline is reporting that Ryan Reynolds and Daniel Bruhl will be taking parts in the film. There's no mention of Garfield in the news story and considering that Reynolds is set for the role that the young actor was supposed to take, I think it's safe to assume that the current Spider-Man is now out.

Tom Hardy Will Head To The BBC For Taboo
Tom Hardy seems to have found his new creative partner in writer/director Steven Knight. The duo is currently gearing up to release Locke at the end of the month and Hardy will also have a role on the second season of Knight's BBC show Peaky Blinders. Hoping to continue their working relationship, the actor has now signed on for another project from Knight. This time it's a drama series titled Taboo, which is being produced by Ridley Scott.

Will Ferrell To Star In Tennis Drama Match Maker
Variety is reporting that Will Ferrell will be taking a bit of a departure from comedy to headline Match Maker, a tennis drama about the 1973 Battles of the Sexes tennis match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King. No director has been set just yet but The Secret Life of Walter Mitty scribe Steven Conrad is on board to pen the screenplay, which will focus on the iconic match that was watched by nearly 50 million Americans. It should also be noted that this project is different from the one that Danny Boyle is working on.

Johnny Knoxville And Tony Shalhoub Will Lend Their Voices To Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Well, here's some interesting news. Paramount has called in Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub to voice Leonardo and Splinter, respectively, in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Originally, actors Pete Ploszek and Danny Woodburn were providing the voices, as they were the ones who did the physical performances. According to Deadline though, their contracts didn't guarantee that their voices would be kept in the film and the studio was "always open to changing the voicing components."

Marvel Considering Guardians Of The Galaxy Spinoff
Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige is the man with the plan. The studio is a juggernaut when it comes to the superhero/comic book genre and the expansive, intricate and fascinating "cinematic universe" that they've put together is extremely impressive. With so many projects in development, and several phases of their universe already planned out, one has to wonder how Mr. Feige keeps everything organized. According to him though, it's very simple: he has a map.
