Shailene Woodley Is Not Sure If She’ll Be In The Amazing Spider-Man 3
Shailene Woodley was all set to play Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, until director Marc Webb decided to completely cut the character out of the film. The plan was to have the actress show up briefly in the sequel, and then have a larger role in the third instalment. After she was removed though, rumors spread of the role being recast for Spidey's third outing.

Brad Pitt Eyeing Untitled WWII Romantic Thriller
Having recently completed David Ayer's WWII film Fury, Brad Pitt seems keen to return to the battlefield for some more action. Deadline is reporting today that the actor has his eye on a WWII romantic thriller from Steven Knight. Unfortunately, no plot details have been released for the currently untitled project but apparently, it's a pretty hot script and although a distributor has not been set just yet, producers already have their eye on a "big director."

David S. Goyer Wants To Reboot Green Lantern
Despite the fact that the last time Warner Bros. and DC Comics tried to put Green Lantern on the big screen it ended in disaster, writer David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight trilogy) still wants to give the character the feature-film that he deserves. While speaking to Collider, he said that he would love to reboot the property at some point, though he didn't go into any further detail, unfortunately.

Scott Caan Will Rock The Kasbah Instead Of Shia LaBeouf
After dropping out of Barry Levinson's Rock the Kasbah, producers have found a replacement for Shia LaBeouf in the form of Scott Caan. The actor will play a con man in the film, which revolves around a has-been music manager (Bill Murray) who travels to Afghanistan for a USO tour with his last remaining client. While there, he ends up abandoned in Kabul and stumbles across a young girl with extraordinary talent. Penniless and without a passport, he decides to manage her and puts her on the Afghanistan version of American Idol.

Frozen Is Now The Highest Grossing Animated Film Of All Time
Deadline is reporting today that Disney's Frozen has now become the highest grossing animated film of all time. Previously, the prestigious record was held by Toy Story 3. Now, the two-time Oscar winner has surpassed Buzz and Woody's last outing to take first place with an impressive $1,072,402,000 at the worldwide box office, just inching by Pixar's finest achievement, which took in $1,063,171,911 when it opened in 2010.

Michael Chiklis Recruited For American Horror Story: Freak Show
Six years after his hit show, The Shield, took its final bow on FX, Michael Chiklis is returning to the network for the fourth season of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, subtitled Freak Show. Set in Jupiter, Fla in the 1950s, the show's next outing will see Jessica Lange returning to play a German ex-Pat who's in charge of "one of the last remaining freak shows in the country."

Scott Adkins Wants A Role In The Raid: Redemption Remake
With The Raid 2 now in theatres, talks of an American remake of its predecessor, The Raid: Redemption, are starting to heat up. We heard a few weeks ago that Patrick Hughes would be at the helm and now, the casting process seems to be underway. Originally rumored for the two lead roles were the Hemsworth brothers, but with no confirmation on that just yet, a couple of other actors are expressing interest in the film.

Mark Wahlberg Runs Away On New Transformers: Age Of Extinction Poster
Paramount has released a new poster today for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction. Set to star Mark Wahlberg, T.J. Miller, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, the film will take place four years after the last entry in the series. A new enemy threat has emerged and Transformers are now being hunted down and banished. Wahlberg will play an auto mechanic who, along with his daughter (Peltz), makes a discovery that puts them on the radar of both the Autobots and Decepticons.
