Gerard Butler Will Replace Liam Hemsworth In The Raven
Gerard Butler is a bit of a hit or miss actor. For every 300 he makes, he also gives us something like Playing for Keeps. The Scottish actor has had his fair share of ups and downs but after the recent success of his latest film, Olympus Has Fallen, it looks like he's on the rise again. Today we're hearing that Butler will step in to replace Liam Hemsworth in the sci-fi actioner The Raven.

Fuse Launch Trailer Explodes Onto The Web
EA has released the official launch trailer for Fuse, which hits store shelves on May 28th. Featuring four player co-op and explosive, over-the-top firefights, the game is set to ignite a bit of a spark into the otherwise slow Spring months. A demo was released a few weeks ago and so far, I've had a blast with it. It's not that Fuse offers anything revolutionary or groundbreaking, but it's a ton of fun and I'm definitely eager to get my hands on the full game.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed
Ubisoft has revealed the various bonuses that gamers will receive should they choose to put in a pre-order for Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. Admittedly, it's all pretty standard stuff, with extra costumes, weapons and missions being thrown into the mix. Still, it's hard to go wrong with a pre-order bonus, since it's essentially more content for free. Joel Edgerton Joins Black Mass With Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp now has a co-star in the form of Joel Edgerton for the upcoming Whitey Bulger biopic, Black Mass. Detailing the life story of the Boston crime boss, the film will have Depp starring as Bulger while Edgerton will play John Connolly, "an FBI agent and childhood pal of Bulger tasked with bringing down the Italian mob, but instead helped out his pal and eventually paid the price."

CONTEST: Win Broken City Blu-Ray
This week we're teaming up with 20th Century Fox to hold a contest for Broken City on Blu-Ray. The Allen Hughes directed political-thriller stars Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe in a captivating tale of betrayal, corruption and conspiracy. It was released back in January and though it flew slightly under the radar, Broken City was a thrilling and fully engaging flick that I really enjoyed.

Inherent Vice Adds Reese Witherspoon, Martin Short And Jena Malone
Paul Thomas Anderson is busy preparing his next film, Inherent Vice. Based on the Thomas Pynchon novel, the cast that Anderson has assembled thus far is damn impressive. Already set to star Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, with Benicio Del Toro and Owen Wilson supporting him, the director has now brought on three more talented individuals as Reese Witherspoon, Martin Short and Jena Malone have all joined.

Drew Goddard May Direct The Martian
Drew Goddard, writer of Cloverfield and director of The Cabin In The Woods, is looking to helm The Martian. Based on the e-book by Andy Weir, the story revolves around an astronaut who finds himself stranded on Mars after his crew leaves him behind, and must survive on his own until he can find a way to return home. Goddard is looking to write the film as well as direct and currently, the project is set up at Fox with Simon Kinberg producing.
