Danny Boyle Planning To Shoot Trainspotting Sequel In 2016
For years now the internet has been buzzing with rumours of a sequel to Danny Boyle's 1996 hit Trainspotting. The author who wrote the book that the film is based on, Irvine Welsh, wrote a sequel in 2002 titled Porno and now, Boyle has confirmed that he will film the adaptation of that book in 2016. Furthermore, he thinks he can get the entire original cast back.

Nicolas Cage Will Not Be In Ghost Rider 3
Despite making over $200 million worldwide at the box office, not many people enjoyed Ghost Rider. The studio tried to shake things up with Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and while it did have its moments, the film did even worse than its predecessor, scaring away most critics and only raking in $132 million worldwide. As of now, the fate of the series is up in the air.

Sam Raimi Won’t Direct The Oz The Great And Powerful Sequel
After spending over $300 million on Oz The Great and Powerful, the execs at Disney can finally rest easy as the film is tracking to make $70 million this weekend at the box office. That's a pretty respectable number and the film will likely be the first real blockbuster of the year, despite the mediocre reviews that it has been receiving. Of course, a sequel was greenlit pretty quickly and the one question that immediately sprung up was whether or not director Sam Raimi will return.

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar Will Touch Down In November 2014
It seems that 2014 will be a good year for Christopher Nolan fans. First we have Transcendence, which is being directed by longtime collaborator Wally Pfister and produced by Nolan and his wife. That film is set for April of 2014. Today, we're receiving more news that should put a smile on the face of Nolan fans everywhere. And that is that the director's upcoming sci-fi film, Interstellar, will touch down in November 2014.
