Jersey Shore Cast Now Making $100,000 Per Episode
The cast of Jersey Shore is now making $100,000 per episode. Yup, can you believe it? $100,000 to lie around, get drunk, work out, party and tan. Oh, and that's not $100,000 collectively. I'm talking $100,000 each. The Situation, Snooki, JWOWW, Vin etc. They're all making $100,000 each, per episode for the upcoming fourth season of Jersey Shore. And that's not counting the numerous heaps of money that they all make on the side from doing promotional gigs. EW brings us the all too nauseating news as they tell us that after long negotiations, MTV struck a deal with the core cast.

Will Tom Cruise Head To Oblivion With Universal?
According to Deadline, Universal is ready to pick up Joseph Kosinski's Oblivion. The film is based on the graphic novel which Kosinski wrote and apparently, Universal is also eyeing Tom Cruise to star in it, which is funny seeing as they just killed Guillermo Del Toro‘s At The Mountains Of Madness, which was also set to star Cruise. Oblivion, while I haven't read it, sounds really neat, it's “set in a future where the Earth’s surface has been irradiated beyond recognition and the remnants of humanity live above the clouds, safe from the brutal alien Scavengers that stalk the ruins. But when surface drone repairman Jak discovers a mysterious woman in a crash-landed pod, it sets off an unstoppable chain of events that will force him to question everything he knows.”

Bradley Cooper Could Star In The Crow
As his star quickly rises, Bradley Cooper's name is probably being tossed around for a vast majority of films in Hollywood right now. He's no doubt finding himself on numerous shortlists and I can't imagine he's having any trouble finding his next project. Today The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Cooper may settle on The Crow, Relativity's upcoming remake of the 1994 film which recently snagged director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Apparently Cooper met with the director and the two hit it off quite well. Although nothing is confirmed yet, Cooper is supposedly pretty interested in the project and is in early talks to star.

Tom Hanks To Float On Cloud Atlas
Deadline is reporting that Tom Hanks will officially star in Cloud Atlas, the David Mitchell novel that revolves around six interconnected stories. Andy and Lana Wachowski will direct along with Tom Tykwer and shooting is set to begin sometime in September. Though I haven't read the book, it's supposed to be incredible and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2004. Apparently it's also quite tough to adapt and the Wachowskis and Tykwer have a difficult road ahead of them.

Rufus Sewell To Suck Blood In Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Today you can add one more to the ever growing cast of Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Variety is telling us that actor Rufus Sewell has joined the cast and will play the main villain, the vampire that is being hunted. Slated for a June 22, 2012 release, the film stars Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anthony Mackie, Alan Tudyk, Jimmi Simpson and Dominic Cooper. Sewell makes a great addition to an already strong cast and with the roles of Edgar Allen Poe, Ann Rutledge and John Wilkes Booth to be filled, you can be sure to hear more casting news shortly.

Sean Penn May Join The Last Photograph After Turning Down Man Of Steel
If Sean Penn is circling a role, you know it must be good. The actor has become quite picky in choosing roles lately and given his track record, he's usually quite good at picking them. He'll be seen next in Terrence Malick's The Tree Of Life and today we get news from Deadline that Penn is seeking out his next role and he's looking towards The Last Photograph, a Niels Arden Oplev (director of the Swedish The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) film.

Casino Jack Blu-Ray Review
Casino Jack is the last film from late director George Hickenlooper, who died on October 30, 2010. Most well known for his documentary Hearts of Darkness, chronicling the nightmare of a movie shoot for Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now, Hickenlooper was also responsible for films like Factory Girl and Mayor of the Sunset Strip. With Casino Jack, Hickenlooper takes a look at Jack Abramoff, the famed US lobbyist who was charged with defrauding American Indian tribes, corrupting public officials, tax evasion, conspiracy and other things.

Watch HBO’s Making Of Game Of Thrones Video
Premiering this Sunday on HBO is the new show Game Of Thrones. Based on the books by George R.R. Martin, Game Of Thrones stars Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey among others. To get audiences prepared for the show, HBO recently aired a 25 minute making of video which is well worth a watch if you're looking forward to the show. For those unfamiliar with the source material, it will "chronicle the violent dynastic struggles among noble families for control of the Iron Throne of Westeros."
