We have another sweet set of Cave Story 3D screenshots for you to peruse. This time around, NIS America has given us a look at the game's detailed and vivid plantation environment. There's a lot of great colour and detail work to be found, using pixel-crafted precision.
War is fought on many different levels. Though, the work that is done in the air seems to get the least amount of congratulations or thanks. It's a tough and dangerous job, being out in the open, with the chance for a surprise attack against at any moment. This sense of enemy awareness is just one of the themes present in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon from Namco Bandai Games and its internal series development team, Project Aces. It's the latest entry in the high-flying, aerial combat series, which brings arcade elements into the fast-paced skyway. This time around, things are just as action-packed, though there's an added sense of creativity and gameplay variety added in. The result is a very solid aerial combat game; one which any genre fan should add to his or her to play list.
Nintendo is getting ready to launch its first Pokémon title for the Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Rumble Blast. The game, which includes over 600 Toy Pokémon to collect and battle with, is sure to interest the series' fans. The fact that the action will be in full 3D is another enticing feature.

For many years, we've played sports games with two hands firmly planted on a controller of some sort. Though, that changed with the release of Kinect Sports almost a year ago. Instead of using buttons, players were instead inserted into the game as caricatures of themselves, using physical gestures to complete on-screen moves. That formula is back in polished and expanded form with Kinect Sports Season 2, which is about to release onto the Xbox 360 next Tuesday. It brings new sports, gameplay enhancements, friend challenges and quite a bit more to the table.
Digital adventurers are dusting off their hats in preparation for an epic journey once again, with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The descended explorer's much-anticipated third outing on Sony's PlayStation 3, will be releasing just around the corner, on November 1. To make us anticipate its release even more than we already do, Sony and Naughty Dog have released not one but two commercial-style videos based on the game.
Mages, warriors and trap-laying badasses are in need now that Dungeon Defenders has released on multiple platforms. Now available through Steam, Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network, the action defence title aims to get four players working together for the common good. The goal, in true tower defence form, is to stop the enemy from getting into your base. Of course, it's not as easy as it sounds.
There's something about shooting lead at the shambling undead, which is both fun and immersive. In fact, it's become one of gaming's most popular scenarios in series like Zombie Apocalypse. The original came in the form of a dual-stick shooter, which had waves upon waves of the undead wanting to much on the brains of gun-toting survivors. With the calendar creeping towards October 25, it seems fair time to warn you that another zombified plague is on its way. Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone is coming out in less than one week and it's sure to bring a ton of foreboding brain eaters with it.
Gran Turismo 5 fanatics will have to wait another seven days before they'll be able to download its first large downloadable content expansion. Polyphony Digital (a studio which certainly isn't a stranger when it comes to delays,) has officially pushed the pack's North American release back to October 25, from its originally scheduled release date of October 18. Perhaps we could just say that it'll be released a week from today, but that would be too easy.
