Dead Rising 2: Off The Record Review
What is it about zombies that has the gaming community searching for close-by guns and melee devices? Their brain-eating tendencies and shambling movements are cause for panic in horror movies and occasionally in interactive, digital form. However, hints of comedy tend to sometimes find their way into fictional stories regarding the walking dead. The folks over at Capcom Vancouver have certainly picked up on that, using it well in their latest release: Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. The third installment in the very popular sandbox action series has an unprecedented amount of the shambling brain-eaters, so it's a good thing that virtual reality sensing technology has not been built into the experience.

Go Vacation Review
When the Nintendo Wii debuted several years ago, it became the go to console for almost all of gaming's most family friendly projects. A lot of these ended up being mini-game collections aimed towards getting children and their parents off of the couch with the promise of fun, interactive gaming. Unfortunately, a lot of these games didn't do very well and ended up being too rushed to achieve great success on the critical front. However, there were some bright spots, such as the Rayman Raving Rabbids series, which is still going today after launching with the console. Another surprise on this front is Go Vacation from Namco, which is a decent activity collection for the younger crowd. One you should certainly look into if a child finds his or her way onto your Christmas shopping list.

War Of The Worlds Launch Trailer Invades Our Digital Homes
H.G. Wells certainly made his mark on world history with War of the Worlds. A scary story about aliens invading our planet with devastating consequences, it created quite a panic amongst the populous. Many tuned in their radios just in time to hear some key words, thinking that the broadcast reading's news-style presentation was in fact completely realistic. Surely you can imagine how scary this would have been, and why such an issue arose. Luckily for all of human-kind, the story was one hundred percent fiction. It still remains that to this day.

Batman: Arkham City Review
The life of a superhero is one filled with great responsibility, plus a lack of sleep. In their fictional worlds, it seems like something is always going wrong - whether it's a jewel heist, armed robbery or worse. Although this could just as easily be mentioned about Spider-Man's New York City or Superman's Metropolis, Gotham City could possibly be the most active of them all. Not only is it teeming with maniacal super villains, but there are always underlings waiting for their chance to impress through macho thuggery. The Dark Knight is a busy man, leading a guarded double life as both an aristocrat and a high-tech hero. Always put to the test by his arch-nemesis the Joker and the others, Batman could be experiencing his toughest test yet in digital form, via Batman: Arkham City from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Games.

New Super Mario 3D Land Screenshots And Trailer Are Awesome
Nintendo has released a crop of brand new screenshots for Super Mario 3D Land, alongside the debut of some brand new gameplay footage. If you're not already excited for this game, then you will be after checking both out because they're all sorts of awesome. Colour reigns supreme in the Mario universe and that is no different here, as there looks to be a lot of vivid and varied creations within the game.
