ICO And Shadow Of The Colossus: The Collection Review
It's human nature to want to revisit past experiences, triumphs and celebrations. Call it what you want, but it's a notion which has carried over to both film and gaming in recent years, spawning quite a few re-releases and revamped editions. Some like it, while others don't, referring to this phase as a lack of inspiration while using the rehashed content term. Being a fan of good video games, I'm always for the re-release of a quality title. Not only does it allow veteran fans to experience a classic game in stunning high-definition, but it also can be used as a way to get newcomers to enter a beloved digital world.

Saints Row: The Third Doesn’t Like Mascots
Volition and THQ sure know how to show off their wares in style. They've released a brand new, forty second long trailer for Saints Row: The Third, which barely shows anything. Though, what it does show is a funny way to dispose of enemies and civilians inside of the game world.

Frank West is the latest fictional character to hit rock bottom. Now, he's looking for redemption the only way he knows how to do so: By killing tons of zombies and taking pictures of their shambling corpses. It's just another day of work for the photo journalist turned badass, as he's our main man in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Orcs Must Die! Review
Those pesky orcs never learn. Why, oh why do they never learn? It's too bad for them, but great for us gamers who love to use any means necessary to deal with the ugly and green digital creations. Now, we're able to flatten, gib, pummel and eviscerate the horde in visceral fashion, within the realm of an action defence title. The title which allows all of that to unfold in sadistic but hilarious form is Orcs Must Die! from Robot Entertainment. A strong game, it contains a lot of neat ways to protect your base from oncoming attackers.

X-Men: Destiny Review
Although Marvel's superhero fiction tends to be action-packed and full of machismo content, there's always an underlying message about the world we live in. Never is this more prevalent than in the X-Men franchise, where the iconic mutated heroes must always deal with segregation, prejudice and a unique form of racism from pro-humanists. What this means is that, not only do they have to be the first line of defence against those threatening the world, but some of the humans they save also become threats. These issues come to the forefront and boil over at the beginning of X-Men: Destiny, a video game which allows gamers to see what it's like being a mutant in a not-s0-loving world.

Gears of War 3 Horde Command DLC Fortifies Its Defences This November
We now know when to expect the first downloadable content pack for Gears of War 3. Entitled Horde Command, it will fortify its defences on the first of November for 800 Microsoft Points (the equivalent of ten dollars.) It can also be downloaded through the use of the game's season pass. Either way, you'll be granted access to three new maps, some new characters (Bernie, Big Rig Dizzy and Onyx Guard), plus weapon skins.
