Call of Juarez: The Cartel Receives A Whispered Delay On PC
Although console users will still be able to make their mark in the drug-fueled war within Call of Juarez: The Cartel tomorrow, their PC counterparts will not be given the same opportunity. The third entry in the western first-person shooter series, which is making its first foray into modern day, has seen its personal computer version receive a quiet delay. A new release date of September 13 has been posted on listings found on various different sites including Amazon and Valve's Steam service Ubisoft has also shown an altered release date on its release schedule.

In celebration of hitting the 10,000 followers plateau, Mass Effect 3 Executive Producer Casey Hudson decided to share something with his fans. The gift was an image of James Vega, a human Systems Alliance soldier who just so happens to be Commander Shepard's latest ally. He's meant to be the embodiment of a new player's mindset. El Shaddai: Ascension Of The Metatron Books A New Excursion Date
The beautiful looking religious action game known as El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, may not be making its scheduled North American release date. Though it was originally planned to hit store shelves next Tuesday (July 26), both Amazon and Gamespot have altered their projected release dates for the visceral title, pegging it for an August 16 release instead.

Deep down inside, we all know why we love first-person shooters. It's the weapons. They're the tools of destruction and our gateway into altering the world we've entered, via the click of a mouse or the press of a button. When you think of an id Software game, the first thing that comes to mind is they're incredibly creative weapon types. Not to mention the result of using one. Seeing a bad guy explode or meet a grisly end at the hands of your on-screen avatar is visceral, engaging and most of all, addicting.

Warhammer 40K: Kill Team Review
Video games are a great escape, which take us into worlds that we can affect with the press of a button. Sometimes it's for good and, at others, it's an evil conquest. However, one of the underlying truths is that we're almost always playing as that one man army type of character, who is destined to save the world or stop the conflict. It's an archetype that we've all become very familiar with in many forms of entertainment mediums and gaming is one that uses it the most.

The Cursed Crusade Begins This Fall For A Budget Initiation
Taking place during the dark and mysterious middle ages, The Cursed Crusade is a game from French developer Kylotonn and publisher Atlus. It tells a story of "salvation and betrayal," set amidst the era's gritty backgrounds. You play as a damned man who must fight his way back to freedom, using powers invested by his curse. Essentially, you look to turn into some sort of a devil-like beast and, from what I've gathered based on its latest teaser trailer (seen below), you also get to fight the devil himself.
