Interesting Soul Calibur 5 Behind The Scenes Developer Diary
Giving us an all access pass behind closed doors, Namco Bandai have released a behind the scenes developer diary for Soul Calibur 5. Fans of the weapon-heavy fighting series will be overjoyed to see what development on the project is like, especially since there are some good interviews interwoven within. Dubbed Project Soul, the development team is headed by producer Hisaharu Tago. In this four-minute long video, he takes us through the team's office, introducing some of the ladies and gentlemen who are working on the project.

Trenched Review
The folks at Double Fine Productions sure love to tinker with tried and true genre staples, adding their own unique brand of humor and creative gameplay elements at the same time. They've previously put their colourful stamp on such genres as real-time strategy, hack n' slash action and the trusty old platforming construct. With their stylized approach and penchant for wisecracking characters the likes of whom we've never seen (or heard from) before in video games, they've won over quite a few fans in the industry and general community. That's why the release of their latest project, Trenched, is such a big deal for those who follow gaming.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Revealed For 3DS
Throughout its existence, the Final Fantasy series has undergone quite a few changes and mutations. From turn-based role playing to strategy conflicts and even massively multiplayer experiences, we've done a lot in the series' gigantic world. Though one thing we've yet to do is complete battles by tapping the screen along to prompts. However, that is set to change with the announcement of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy - a rhythm game for the Nintendo 3DS.

EA Executive Confirms Publisher Is Working On A New Mirror’s Edge
To some, Mirror's Edge was one of the best video game releases of this generation. Though others like myself weren't nearly as impressed with it, despite its unique aspects. Well, the former camp will certainly be overjoyed to hear that Electronic Arts' Senior Vice President, Patrick Soderlund has confirmed that the gaming giant is hard at work on bringing the parkour-inspired franchise back.

Published by Spike Games and distributed by 345 Games (a division of Comedy Central,) one of today's XBOX Live Arcade releases is Deadliest Warrior: Legends. A sequel to last year's downloadable release, Deadliest Warrior: The Game, it looks to build upon what 450,000 gamers enjoyed about its predecessor, by including tons of new content.

Ms. ‘Splosion Man Will Not Annihilate Your Bank Account
If you're looking forward to Ms. 'Splosion Man, but happen to be worried about it 'sploding your bank account, your mind can rest. Its developer, Twisted Pixel, announced today that its much-talked about platformer with an explosive twist will be set at a reasonable price of 800 Microsoft Points when it releases via XBLA on July 13. That is the equivalent of ten dollars.

Could Ms. ‘Splosion Man End Up ‘Sploding Onto Steam?
While browsing through his Steam library recently, Rock Paper Shotgun's Lewie Procter claims to have seen a listing for Ms. 'Splosion Man appear briefly. While it was up, Mr. Procter managed to take a screenshot of what seem to be achievements for the popular upcoming platformer from Twisted Pixel. They're greyed out but convey the art style found within the XBOX Live Arcade version's list.

Lord Of The Rings: War In the North Gets A Classy Collectors’ Edition
Warner Bros. is attempting to recruit some new members to the side of good, by announcing the details of the Lord of the Rings: War in the North Collectors' Edition. This extravagant Collector's Edition can be yours for a large entry fee of $130, and is set to include some decent content collectors may be after. Consumers who are willing to shell out the extra money will be treated to a Ranger of the North Quiver Case, an art book, a behind-the-scenes DVD on the game's soundtrack, three songs from the score and the game disc.
