However, there are also just as many (if not more) occasions where the idea behind something may be interesting, but its execution is a mess. Shadows Of The Damned Review

Take a stroll through Suda 51’s interpretation of Hell - an underlying demon world that is both gothic and psychedelic, with old century architecture mixing with the large spectacle of neon lighting. It’s a digital land unlike anything else the gaming world has ever seen, which is a major understatement to say the least. Book your ticket on this surreal ride by picking up a copy of Shadows of the Damned, though beware the things that go bump in the night.

Ms. Splosion Man Beta Hands-On Preview

Why does it seem like fictional scientists are always getting themselves into trouble? They're always trying to create the next super weapon, biologically immune atom or something like that. Of course, their plans almost always go awry when their mutated beast escapes or a virus gets out into the populace, and it's happened again in Ms. Splosion Man. You see, the combustible platforming ball of fire that we met in Twisted Pixel's last downloadable release, Splosion Man, has a female friend who would also like to try to break out of her laboratory confines. Cue the explosive mayhem, shuddering scientists in hiding and all of the off the wall platforming action.

Codemasters Shuts Down GRID PS3 And PC Servers

Due to a declined extended contract, Codemasters have been forced to shut down their online servers for both the PC and PS3 versions of GRID. Though the online capabilities of the XBOX 360 version still remain intact, as the third-party company they deal with have decided that they're important enough to keep running.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Review

Thirteen years ago, Nintendo brought their green-clad elven hero to the Nintendo 64 for what is considered to be his finest journey yet in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Since its release, there have been a lot of times where the game's title has been mentioned alongside the term 'best game of all-time,' which is a deserving nod. That recognition and popularity were two of the major factors in Nintendo's decision to remake the lengthy action role-playing game for their powerful new Nintendo 3DS hand-held gaming device. A decision that has created a lot of buzz around the system, as many have finally made the decision to buy one just for this game.

Dungeon Siege III Review

Journey back to the land of Ehb, thirty years after its monarch was murdered. Blamed on the 10th Legion; the most powerful of the land's armies, the incident tarnished their name and eliminated the respect they once garnered from the public. The cowardly assassination case was never officially solved. With no official governing body to take over, the kingdom was split up into different states - one of which (eastern Ehb) fell under the control of the murderer herself: Jeyne Kassynder - a powerful witch with deadly intentions. Motives so terrible that she led the majority of the Legion's members to slaughter under a large tree deep in the woods.

The Adventures of Shuggy Review

When one thinks about the fictional bloodsuckers known as vampires, they usually picture coffins, fangs and large, brooding castles. That's because those are the images that are engrained in our minds from watching countless vampire movies and television shows. Never before have we heard of a vampire who is afraid of his family's large castle. Until now, that is, as The Adventures of Shuggy - an XBOX Live downloadable game, aims to show us that tiny vampires are actually afraid of the dark. Though, it doesn't let us know if they're still harmless towards us humans though. Perhaps that question will be answered in a sequel?

Annihilation DLC Coming To Call Of Duty: Black Ops

The best selling game ever on the XBOX 360 is getting ready to add more content to its already vast multiplayer offering. Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation will be released via the XBOX Live Marketplace on June 28th. This will be the third map pack for the popular shooter from Treyarch.

James Mangold Is Set To Helm The Wolverine Sequel

Deadline is reporting that James Mangold (director of the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk The Line,) has won the opportunity to direct the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He beat out fellow directors Antoine Fuqua and Gavin O'Connor for the job that Darren Aronofsky departed from based on personal reasons.
