DayZ Confirmed To Be A Stand Alone Game
DayZ has really had an incredible journey thus far. The mod is single handedly taking ARMA 2 from a niche game to one of the most talked about titles of the year. We saw the player count in DayZ ramp up by more than 500,000 players in the last month alone. It’s unprecedented and it has really changed the outlook for a lot of companies on their approach to PC gaming.

Heavy metal makes everything better. You know it’s true. I grew up with a torrid love affair of shirtless men in leather jackets playing guitars in factories that seem to produce only sparks while women thrash around on sports cars miles away. Ok, so maybe in retrospect the 80's weren’t as great as I like to pretend they were... But the fact remains! Metal makes things better.

The Book Of Unwritten Tales may not do anything to reinvent the wheel, but it still manages to present an incredibly engaging experience. Between its fantastic voice acting, self-referential humor and visually engaging world, there's a fantastic title here that is just waiting to be discovered.

Skyrim’s Dawnguard Sneaks Out For PCs, PS3 Fans Have To Wait A Bit Longer
Surprise! We were just talking about how there hasn’t been any sign of Dawnguard coming out for the PC or PS3 last week, but it seems that Bethesda was just playing with us for a bit. During tonight’s QuakeCon keynote, Bethesda announced that Skyrim’s first expansion was quietly released onto Steam today. While this is great news for PC gamers, PS3 fans have little to celebrate as of yet.
