The more I hear about Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us, the harder it is for me to not get excited. The post-apocalyptic romp seems to be doing everything right at this early junction.
Nordic Games detailed the two different PC editions of Alan Wake yesterday. The regular edition, which will be selling for $30, comes with the full game as well as The Signal and The Writer DLC packs on one disc. It also includes the game's full soundtrack, six post cards, seven stickers, a poster and a manual.
In a move that is both great for gamers and companies that produce underpants, Frictional Games has launched a website teasing the next Amnesia game. The website features text stating, “Amnesia” and, “Something is emerging…” Then, there's a link to a Google map of China.
Last month, we told you about Super Mario Crossover 2.0, the Flash game taking favorites of old and putting them into a pixel perfect replication of Super Mario Bros. Well, the update has finally gone live and it’s absolutely glorious.
It’s here! It’s finally here! The Skyrim Creation Kit is finally here! It’s like Christmas has come early, except that this has the possibility of bringing newer, smaller Christmases from here on out. Skyrim is already ripe with mods and, with the Creation Kit, it’s going to be easier than ever for developers to get their ideas out into the open.
If you can’t get enough of the tower defense genre, I have some killer news for you. Sanctum 2 was announced earlier when Reverb Publishing signed on with Coffee Stain Studios to bring the title to not only the PC this go around, but also to Xbox Live and PSN. There aren't a lot of details floating about it quite yet, but we can expect to see a release sometime in 2013.

Sure, sure; you may think I’m insane, but I saw the way King Boleslaw was eying the daughter of the Holy Roman Empire. Sure, it may be true love, but I’m betting it’s a coup waiting to happen.
Microsoft has announced that Kinect Star Wars will hit stores in Europe and the US on April 3rd. The game itself will sell for $49.99 but we can also look forward to a console bundle for $449.99. On top of that, Microsoft released five game modes we can look forward to.
Survival modes in games are traditionally a bit stale. Normally it’s you and a buddy against a horde of enemies trying to see who can stick it out the longest. Well, Shank 2 isn’t your average game and they weren’t going to settle for your average survival mode. You and a buddy have to defend three supply stations from being destroyed by bombers amidst the usual chaos.
It’s hard to recommend Puddle based simply on the elevated difficulty and the frustration that comes with it. I have to imagine that a majority of gamers would be turned off fairly early by the repeated (often cheap) deaths and loading times.
