True Blood Review: “Gone, Gone, Gone” (Season 5, Episode 10)

After last week's semi-climactic end of the Obama gang, True Blood has been steadily gearing up for World War 3 between fangers and humans. Now that Terry's story has ended and Alcide's has fizzled out, there's plenty of time to enjoy watching vampires take over the world, one dead human at a time. With only two episodes left, Gone, Gone, Gone proves that there is still a lot at stake (pun intended) for all of our favorite characters.

GRID 2 Announced For 2013

Although there aren't a huge amount of genuinely exciting racing simulators out there, the few that stand out are exceptional. Not the least of these is GRID, the Codemasters release which still stands the test of time four years later. But for those of us still gripping our sweaty controllers, it looks like we've got something to get excited about: Codemasters has officially announced the release of GRID 2, which is due out sometime in 2013.

True Blood Review: “Somebody That I Used To Know” (Season 5, Episode 8)

What makes True Blood one of the best shows on TV is that it features a huge cast of characters all facing vastly unique challenges, but we've become so familiar with the ensemble that the jump between stories is never very jarring. Despite this, the beginning of season 5 was marred by having too many characters with uninteresting stories, making each episode feel like more of a chore than an experience. But this is episode eight, and the tables have turned in a huge way by now. Not only are the plots picking up, but everything is rushing towards what is sure to be the most explosive finale the show has ever seen.
