New Wrong Turn Photos Tease A Terrifying Wilderness Thriller
The Wrong Turn movies have been scaring the crap out of hikers since 2003. The horror franchise is about families of deformed cannibals who live deep in the wilderness of West Virginia and prey on those who take the titular 'wrong turn' into their territory. Since the first film, we've seen five straight-to-DVD sequels in the form of Dead End, Left for Dead, Bloody Beginnings, Bloodlines and Last Resort. These have been of variable quality and, save for a couple of fun scenes, largely failed to live up to the original.

Dave Bautista Updates Us On The Status Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3
Had everything gone to plan, we'd have already seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The sequel was originally slated to shoot in 2019 for a 2020 release, but things changed when writer/director James Gunn was temporarily removed from the project over some old tweets. In the interim period, he signed up to direct Warner Bros.' The Suicide Squad, and the delay caused by that was compounded by COVID-19 pushing all MCU release dates back.

Star Wars Fans Choose Benedict Cumberbatch As The Perfect Live-Action Thrawn
After being name-dropped in The Mandalorian, it's now almost certain that a live-action Grand Admiral Thrawn is coming soon to Star Wars. First introduced in Timothy Zahn's 1991 novel Heir to the Empire, the Imperial military strategist quickly became one of the most fearsome villains in the extended universe and a firm fan favorite. As such, it wasn't a huge surprise when he was brought into the Disney canon in the third season of Star Wars Rebels.

Amber Heard Now Being Paid $33,000 To Give Talks On Domestic Violence
The vicious legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard took a decisive turn last month when a British judge ruled that her allegations were credible and that it wasn't libellous for The Sun newspaper to describe Depp as a "wife beater". Since then Depp's fortunes have fallen: he was almost immediately booted off Fantastic Beasts 3, his indie film Minamata removed from film festival line-ups, has apparently lost the role of Harry Houdini in a prestige TV show and is now described as "radioactive" by industry insiders.

[SPOILERS] Reportedly Helps Peter Clear His Name In Spider-Man 3
Spider-Man 3 is shaping up to be by far the biggest MCU Spidey film to date. Right now, we know that Tom Holland's hero will be mentored by Doctor Strange, possibly because he's about to have to deal with all manner of multiversal shenanigans. Alfred Molina is returning as Doctor Octopus from 2004’s Spider-Man 2 as well, alongside Jamie Foxx’s Electro from 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Not to mention there are persistent rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are climbing back into their respective Spidey suits, too.

The Mandalorian Fans May’ve Figured Out Where Gideon’s Taking Baby Yoda
Last week's episode of The Mandalorian focused on Din Djarin and friends tracking down Moff Gideon in order to launch a rescue mission for Grogu. The information was tough to secure, with Din breaking a key part of his Mandalorian code and removing his helmet to get it. So, where is Moff Gideon? Well, right now he appears to be on his Imperial light cruiser, but it seems his destination is most important.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Actor Says He Knew The Film Wouldn’t Work
With the popularity of the character and Hugh Jackman's iconic performance, you'd be forgiven for thinking a solo Wolverine movie would be an obvious home run. So, it's strange that 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was such a colossal misfire. A combination of a terrible script, shoddy CGI and several poor production decisions sunk the film and it's generally considered the worst entry in Fox's X-Universe.
