It’s safe to say Warner Bros. are pleased with Joker. Despite their initial misgivings about the project, going so far as to limit its budget in an attempt to dissuade the creators, it’s gone on to wild success, becoming the first R-rated movie to ever break $1 billion at the box office. Based on that alone, there will be sequels, but those potential sequels might have been very different if Todd Phillips had gone with this crazy alternate ending.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promises to expand the horizons of the MCU at a crucial time. That's because, over the next decade or so, the MCU will have to stretch to accommodate a lot of new IP. Not only have Disney and Sony Pictures apparently inked a deal to allow their own Marvel universe to cross over with the MCU, but Marvel Studios are hard at work figuring out how to best incorporate the X-Men and Fantastic Four.

The Witcher Pulling In Huge Numbers For Netflix Despite Mixed Reviews
Over the last few years we've seen a number of big divides between the opinions of professional critics and audiences. Sometimes there's an ulterior political motive at play to review-bomb certain movies or TV shows, sometimes the critics genuinely get it wrong and sometimes there simply isn't a decent explanation. The latest example is Netflix's The Witcher. Since its launch last week the adult fantasy show has been rated as 'Rotten' after 59 views, with the site summarising it as "half-formed". However, the audience rating after 12,200 reviews is a whopping 93%.

Tom Holland Now In Talks With Sony For Venom 2 Cameo
The internet went absolutely bananas for a few weeks in 2019 when it appeared that Disney and Sony Pictures couldn't reach an agreement on the rights to use Spider-Man. Tom Holland's Spidey is one of the most beloved characters in the MCU, his story took a major swerve at the end of Far From Home and him just unceremoniously vanishing from the universe would be very disappointing for fans. However, as is usually the case when there are hundreds of millions of dollars to be made, the two studios eventually reached an agreement.

Deadpool and X-Force creator Rob Liefeld probably wasn't particularly happy when Disney merged with Fox and acquired their superhero properties. After all, the Merc had become a global phenomenon and the studio was hard at work on X-Force. After years of being the butt of jokes about Captain America's boobs, tiny feet and a ridiculous number of pouches, Liefeld was finally having the last laugh. But with Disney came complications. Would the Mouse House really release an R-rated superhero movie and would they bring over a character from the X-Universe to the MCU?

It's hard to believe it's been three years since the untimely death of Carrie Fisher. Her passing came as a huge shock to Star Wars fans, with the actress in the middle of a late-career renaissance after the return of Leia Organa in the Sequel Trilogy and the publication of her hit book The Princess Diarist. Slightly complicating matters is that even though she's been dead for three years, she has had a long cinematic afterlife. Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released after she had died and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker brought her back using the miracles of modern editing.

The Mandalorian Finally Confirms The Character’s Real Name
The lead character in The Mandalorian has been shrouded in mystery from the beginning. Due to a religious code, he's prevented from showing anyone his face and must keep his helmet on at all times. He's also 'the man with no name,' with other characters simply calling him 'Mandalorian' or 'Mando.' But soon after the series' premiere, Pedro Pascal gave an interview where he appeared to accidentally mention his real name.
