Assassin's Creed Odyssey breathed new life into the often creaky historical murder simulator franchise. Working on the solid foundation of semi-reboot Assassin's Creed Origins, the game takes place in a beautiful ancient Greek setting and has a mindbogglingly enormous and detailed map. It received a rare five-star review from WGTC as well, as we described it as "stunning in almost every way."

Fortnite’s Borderlands Crossover Continues With The Psycho Pack
With the much-anticipated Borderlands 3 landing in just over two weeks, whoever at Gearbox made the decision to have a promotional crossover with Fortnite deserves a pat on the back. The games are just different enough to not compete directly with one another while sharing similar gameplay loops. Plus, with much of Fortnite's playerbase skewing younger, Fortnite x Mayhem is a great way to inform them about Borderlands, considering that the last full game in the series was released way back in 2012.

As is traditional for Apex Legends, we've known for weeks that Crypto is the most likely character to be added next. The first we heard of this new Legend was two months ago, but full details were outlined two weeks ago when reliable data-miner The1MiningGuy took apart the game's then-latest patch and found a wealth of information related to the character. Now, we all but have confirmation that he's making the cut as he's appeared on an official banner at the GameStop leadership conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mortal Kombat 11 Releases New Look At Spawn, Will Be Voiced By Keith David
As leaked a long, long time ago, everybody's favorite hellbound revenge-crazed superhero (that isn't Ghost Rider), Spawn, is coming to Mortal Kombat 11. The character was recently confirmed as the final addition to the MK Kombat Pack, alongside Mortal Kombat mainstays like Nightwolf, Sindel and Shang Tsung and guest stars the Terminator-800 and Joker. He'll be the final character to be released, too, arriving on March 24th, 2020 (which feels like a very long way away).
