Horror Comedy Classic Evil Dead 2 To Receive 4K UHD Restoration On Blu-Ray
While Sam Raimi's original The Evil Dead is probably the most influential movie in the franchise, its sequel/remake, Evil Dead 2, is certainly the most entertaining. The film is a killer combination of horror and comedy anchored by a performance that defined Bruce Campbell's career and with Raimi throwing every neat directorial trick he can into the movie. Just thinking about Ash battling his possessed hand in a ridiculous slapstick fight makes me smile.

Apex Legends Leak Suggests Respawn’s Considering A PvE Survival Mode
The last few days have seen an influx of leaked data from the game of the moment, Apex Legends. In much the same way as Fortnite before it, dedicated players have dug through every inch of code to try and figure out what might be coming down the line. Along the way they've turned up evidence that Respawn are experimenting with larger and smaller squad sizes, details about upcoming (or unused) weapons and even some specifications for a hoverbike vehicle. Now it seems that there's evidence for a full-on new game mode, which seems to be survival themed.

New Apex Legends Leak Teases 24-Person Squads
Last week we reported that dataminers had turned up evidence that Apex Legends may be planning to introduce single and duo squads. Right now your only option is to play the game as a trio, which seems like the perfect size at the moment but may end up feeling a bit samey once the novelty has worn off. But now we've seen a new bit of data-mining of the game's files that suggests Respawn may be looking at introducing six, twelve and even 24 man squads.

New Doom Patrol Promo Teases Next Week’s Episode
I will happily hold my hands in the air and admit I was dead wrong about Titans. The show that launched the DC Universe streaming service looked embarrassingly bad in promo stills, and that "fuck Batman" trailer did it absolutely no favors. But then the show itself was released and my skepticism quickly melted away as I realized that it was actually pretty damn awesome. That show's episode featuring the Doom Patrol only made me even more hyped for their solo show. Now it's here and the reviews are calling it "the strongest debut of any DC show in recent memory".
