Jake Gyllenhaal Spotted In London, Is It For Spider-Man: Far From Home?
With Spider-Man: Far From Home having commenced shooting in London, we should hopefully be getting some juicy leaks from the set that will give us a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming sequel. Right now we know that the film will see Spidey on a kind of European tour, swinging through London, Venice and (probably) Paris - with Jake Gyllenhaal signed up to play the film's primary villain. When he was cast back in May it was widely reported that he was set to play goofy special effects supervillain Mysterio, but lately we're hearing that he might in fact play a different villain (possibly Hydro-Man?).

Robert Englund Has A Great Idea For Freddy’s Return In A New Nightmare On Elm Street
Despite a healthy box office take, the 2010 remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street failed to please both critics and audiences - and it's telling that there was never a sequel featuring Jackie Earle Haley's take on the iconic Freddy Krueger. But it's been nearly a decade - why not have another stab at resurrecting Krueger for a new audience, especially now that horror is undergoing a renaissance in terms of box office? Even better, the original and best Freddy, Robert Englund, has an awesome idea for how Freddy could return.

Is Superman Returning To Supergirl For Season 4?
Warner Bros. is notoriously restrictive about which DC heroes and villains can appear on TV. The general rule is that they don't want audiences to be confused with multiple versions of characters showing in different media at the same time, with a good example being the no Batman rule on the Arrowverse shows.

Stan Lee Reacts To The X-Men And Fantastic Four Coming Home
It's really nice to be writing a news story about Stan Lee that doesn't involve accusations of elder abuse, shady financial dealings or his blood being stolen. This much more upbeat bit of Stan Lee news concerns his reaction to the news that, with the Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the X-Men and Fantastic Four IPs are going to appear in the MCU. Black Panther Star Says Killmonger Would’ve Taken Down Thanos In Avengers: Infinity War
The heroes of the MCU must have thought they were pretty hot stuff after ten years of taking down various supervillains across multiple movies, but they came completely unstuck when fighting Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, resulting in a truly apocalyptic finale that shocked audiences. But maybe things could have been different if the climx of Black Panther had ended with Killmonger on the throne rather than T'Challa?

Early Reactions To The Meg Call It The Summer’s Most Enjoyable Movie
While no cinematic project is ever guaranteed to be a success, Jason Statham vs a gigantic prehistoric shark seems like a pretty difficult concept to screw up. This is The Meg, which in an era of endless superhero sequel sagas and endless franchise movies looks to be a breath of fresh air with its simplicity, overt trashiness and sense of fun. Will Avengers 4 Tease The X-Men Or Fantastic Four’s Arrival In The MCU?
At this point, we can assume that the merger between The Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox is going to happen. Disney will take control of Fox's superhero IP and we'll definitely see both X-Men and Fantastic Four characters appearing in the MCU at some point in the future. But fans are wondering whether 'some point in the future' could be as early as next May, when Avengers 4 is scheduled to hit cinemas.
