Zack Snyder Confirms That Batman Was Teasing Darkseid’s Arrival In Justice League
If Warner Bros hadn't chickened out and allowed Zack Snyder to complete his five-film DCEU project we might have had something very special. The director had planned a five-film arc beginning with Man of Steel that would have told a self-contained story,y. This would have theoretically begun with Man of Steel, then continued with, Batman v Superman, Justice League Part 1, Justice League Part 2 and an unnamed finale. The driving force for these remaining films? The arrival of Darkseid on Earth and the Justice League attempting to prevent him from turning Earth into another Apokalips (as glimpsed in the 'Knightmare' sequence).

Hi-Res Photos Give Us An Even Better Look At Spider-Man’s New Far From Home Suit
One of the coolest piece of concept art for the Spider-Man: Homecoming suit was a striking red and black design. While they went for a more traditional red and blue take in the finished film, it seems like someone at Marvel Studios really liked the way it looked - as it's been resurrected for Spider-Man: Far From Home. This latest look at it came from some on-set photos from the New York location shoot published by @tomhsource that show Spidey and MJ hanging out. Check them out below:

Watch: Stan Lee’s Hilarious First DC Cameo From Teen Titans GO! To The Movies
Did you see Teen Titans GO! To The Movies this summer? Nope? Well, you missed out on one of the best and funniest superhero movies there's been in a long time. Essentially a 90 minute takedown of repetitive superhero films featuring glowering and haunted square-jawed heroes, the pic was loaded with hilarious potshots at iconic DC superheroes (including a brutal gag about Batman's parents' murder), a ton of DC fan service (Animal Man! On the big screen!) and a load of toe-tappin' tunes. One thing it also boasted was a Stan Lee cameo, which was unsurprisingly his first in a DC movie.

Benedict Cumberbatch’s Long-Delayed The Current War To Finally Get International Release
You might think a glossy Hollywood biopic about Thomas Edison starring Benedict Cumberbatch alongside Michael Shannon, Nicholas Hoult, Tom Holland and Tuppence Middleton would be a sure-fire money-spinner. But think again, because The Current War has been in the can since late 2017 and it's only now getting a release. Why has the film suffered this fate? Well, primarily because it's got Harvey Weinstein's gross-ass fingerprints all over it.

Apparently There’s A Universal Soldier Reboot In The Works
Universal Soldier is a rare movie franchise that actually got better in its later sequels. The original and its follow-up The Return are basically okay schlock, but 2009's Regeneration was a weirdly great film (and Van Damme was brilliant in it) and Day of Reckoning wasn't half bad either (we'll ignore the intensely crappy made-for-TV movies, which were quickly retconned out of existence).

Is This Our First Look At Gotham’s Version Of Harley Quinn?
Gotham is a fascinatingly odd take on the Batman mythos, so I was glad to hear the show had been granted a fifth season in order to round out its story. Though the upcoming final outing is a shorter run than usual, the show seems determined to bring as many Batman villains as possible to its universe. This season, we know we're going to get Shane West as Bane, Cameron Monaghan's weird-ass not-Joker and now it seems that Francesca Root-Dodson is going to be playing Harley Quinn. Or at least, a Joker girlfriend who is very, very like Harley.
