Leaked Avengers 4 Concept Art Shows Off Thanos’ Brutal New Sword
Thanos kicked a whole load of ass in Avengers: Infinity War. While he obviously had some help from the Infinity Stones, he's clearly an excellent hand-to-hand warrior, as shown by him going toe-to-toe with the Hulk in the opening scene on board the Asgardian ship. But, if this leaked photo is authentic, then it seems as if he's going to switch up his fighting style in Avengers 4 to accommodate a new sword. And it looks absolutely brutal.

Gambit Producer Says The Film’s A Love Story With Heist Elements
At this point, I'm intensely skeptical that Gambit is ever going to make it into theaters. It feels like I've been writing about various permutations of the film for years, as it cycles through directors and its release date keeps getting pushed back further and further. But last Friday, 20th Century Fox announced that it's finally going to hit cinemas on March 13th, 2020. And while that's great to hear, let's just say I'll believe it when I see it.

Netflix Announces New Chronicles Of Narnia Films And TV Shows
Are you ready to step back through the wardrobe? Netflix hopes you are, because they've just announced that they're developing both films and TV shows based on C.S. Lewis' classic children's fantasy books, The Chronicles of Narnia. From the sounds of this it's a pretty expansive deal, presumably with one eye on having something to compete with Amazon's upcoming The Lord of the Rings shows. The deal was confirmed on the official Facebook page for Narnia, with Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix explaining:

Dark Phoenix Director Explains How He Was Inspired By Logan
Logan was so good it made the preceding X-Men films look a bit cheesy. After all if the character could have this much depth and be treated so seriously, why hadn't the movies been doing it already over the last 17 years? Hugh Jackman's swansong in the claws was so well received that director Simon Kinberg is claiming in an interview with Collider that this film's success is why wha was previously known as X-Men: Dark Phoenix is now simply Dark Phoenix:

Star Wars: Episodes I-VI Won’t Be On Disney’s Streaming Service Until 2024
Disney's upcoming streaming service, currently rather unimaginatively titled Disney Streaming Service, is going to shake things up online when it launches next year. The subscription channel potentially features the entirety of Disney's vast catalogue of movies, stretching all the way back to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and every Marvel Studios movie to date. But there's one major Disney IP that won't be featured in its entirety on the service, for a while at least. I'm talking about the prequel and classic trilogies of Star Wars, which will only be available from 2024.

Star Wars: Episode IX Rumored To Feature A Lightsaber Duel Between Luke And Snoke
No. Not a chance in hell. How can I be so confident about this? First of this claim - that Star Wars: Episode IX will feature a flashback to a lightsaber duel between Luke Skywalker and Snoke - is being reported by The Daily Express. For those not familiar with the paper, it's a right-wing tabloid with a notoriously loose grip on truth. Secondly and more importantly, their source is notorious bullshit artist Mike Zeroh, who has forged a career out of making stuff up on YouTube about Star Wars while claiming it's coming from mysterious 'sources'.

Solo: A Star Wars Story VFX Artist Reveals How They Pulled Off One Of The Coolest Shots
I'm pretty down on Solo: A Star Wars Movie in general. I think it's a wasted opportunity for Star Wars - when they sacked Lord & Miller they abandoned creativity in favor of homogeneity. The result was a bland film which didn't have much to say, looked rather drab and ultimately lacked soul. Having said all that it's not without its cooler moments. I liked the giant space monster in the middle of the Kessel Run, I liked the opening chase sequence on Corellia, I liked the introduction of Chewbacca and I liked this tiny moment where Lando casually tosses a blaster to Han.
