The Millennium Falcon Takes Flight On Gorgeous Solo: A Star Wars Story Empire Cover
It's still a little strange seeing the Millennium Falcon all shiny and new(ish) in the promotional material for Solo: A Star Wars Story. After all, this is the craft that was a 'heap of junk' in A New Hope and consigned to the scrap heap as a relic in The Force Awakens. But we'd better get used to it, as it seems that the craft - one of the most recognisable fictional spaceships ever - is set to play a big role in the upcoming movie.

Stan Lee Angrily Denies Allegations Of Elder Abuse, Threatens To Sue
Life in the world of Stan Lee has taken a turn for the dramatic over the last few months. We've seen allegations of elder abuse (including the LAPD being called to Lee's house), reports of hundreds of thousands of dollars of Lee's money being stolen from him, sexual abuse allegations against Lee and his manager and, most bizarrely of all, that someone has been stealing Stan Lee's blood in order to create a special ink to sign comics with.

Disney And Fox Deal Will Apparently Be Closed By Summer 2019
Fox President Peter Rice has said he expects the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney to be closed by summer 2019. Announced late last year to a blaze of publicity, the deal would cement the Mouse House as the monolithic force in entertainment and grant them control of some of the most famous and popular franchises in cinema and television history. At the time of the announcement, Disney explained that they expected the regulatory approval process to take about 12-18 months, so this update is a good indication that things are progressing smoothly.

New Avengers: Infinity War IMAX Poster Gets A Bit Dark
IMAX is pretty damn big. If you go to one of their flagship locations you'll learn facts like the screen is the height of five double-decker buses, that the projector weighs "as much as a Fiat 500" and that the bulb gets "as hot as the surface of the sun" (no, I don't believe it does either, but that's what their promotional material says). But there's a certain purple intergalactic titan that's bigger, more dangerous and hotter than IMAX - Avengers: Infinity War's Thanos!

Jessica Jones Renewed For Season 3
Brian Michael Bendis' Alias was one of my favorite comics of the 2000s, presenting an exciting new perspective on the Marvel Universe. So, I was over the moon when Netflix announced that they were adapting the comic as Jessica Jones in 2015. I was even happier when I watched the first episode and realized that they'd absolutely nailed the tone of the source material and that Krysten Ritter was outstanding in the lead role.
