Captain America has been exceptionally prominent in most of the Avengers: Endgame promotional footage released so far. The various TV spots shared in these last couple of days, for instance, are heavily based around Steve’s lines about refusing to move on and doing “whatever it takes.” And as one Reddit user has observed, Cap’s dominance in the dialogue stands in stark contrast to his presence in Avengers: Infinity War.

And in a recent interview with Empire, writer Christopher Markus hinted that the cinematic universe will be a very different place by the end of next month’s release.
