Microsoft has announced that the October update for the Xbox One will officially begin rolling out today. Primarily focusing on the social and media features of the console, the October update boasts several long-requested features. Notable updates include improvements to the Snap Center, the ability to caption recently earned Achievements, and playback of MKV video files.

Coming into this year’s New York Comic-Con, I was a little surprised to find out that Capcom would have Resident Evil: Revelations 2 playable on the show floor. After all, it wasn’t that long ago that news of the title even existing first leaked through online retailers. Nevertheless, I was excited to step back into the classic franchise, especially when I consider how disappointing the last entry in the series was.
